7:35 PM MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

PRESENT: CARL FUEHRING, HELEN LEFLER, ANITA FOSTER.
AVERY WILSON, STEVE MARCINIAK, LEO TERRYN

ABSENT: PETE WOOD

DISCUSSION WAS HELD ON THE PROPOSED DRAFT OF REVISED GTMP THAT HELEN HAD DISTRIBUTED. THE INTRODUCTION, NATURAL FEATURES &
NATURAL RESOURCES, EXISTING LAND USE AND COMMUNITY PROFILE WERE ALL FINE. THERE WAS SOME EDITING DONE TO THE INFRASTRUC-TURE SECTION. FUTURE LAND USE SECTION ADDRESSED MULTI- FAMILY
DWELLINGS (3 OR MORE) AS A SU IN THE RESIDENTIAL ZONE ONLY. DUPLEX AS A SU IN THE A/R AND RESIDENTIAL ZONES. DUPLEX'S PROVIDE HIGH DENSE LOW COST HOUSING. DISCUSSION OF HAVING A R-1 ZONE IN THE VILLAGE OF MEARS AND AN R-2 ZONE OF LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE (OPEN SPACE). DIVIDE AG INTO ACTIVE AG AND AG-2 CONSISTING OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURE (GAME PRESERVES). NEED TO DEVELOP A MINIMUM ACREAGE AND INCREASE PUD SIZE.

HELEN SUGGESTED WE SHOULD HAVE TYPES OF USE WITHOUT STATING THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION.
