7:40 PM MEETING CALLED TO ORDER.
PRESENT: CARL FUEHRING, ANITA FOSTER, LEO TERRYN,
AVERY WILSON, PETE WOOD, STEVE MARCINIAK,
HELEN LEFLER.
MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
CARL NOMINATES HELEN TO BE THE NEW CHAIRPERSON, STEVE SUPPORTS THE MOTION, ALL AYE.
HELEN MOTIONS TO APPROVE THE AGENDA, STEVE SUPPORTS THE MOTION , ALL AYE.
NEW BUSINESS:
DAN MORAT WOULD LIKE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO DEFINE AND ALLOW SENIOR HOUSING (AGE 55 OR OLDER) IN THE RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
NO CORRESPONDENCE.
MARTY DAVIDSON FEELS IT IS A GOOD IDEA, BUT IS CONCERNED THAT IT NOT TURN INTO A CHAPPITA HILLS.
DEBBIE DEBROT QUESTIONED THE SEWER AND WELL REGULATIONS AND WAS INFORMED THAT IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENTS RESPONSIBILITY.
JAKE EXPLAINED THAT THE PLANNING COMMISION NEEDS TO DETERMINE IF IT WANTS TO ALLOW THIS AS A SU AND DTEREMINE THE DEFINITION.
DEBBIE DEBROT ASKED IF THE ORDINANCE IS AMENDED, DOES IT APPLY TO THE ENTIRE TOWNSHIP?
MARY DAVIDSON ASKED IF THIS COULD HAPPEN ON EVERY EMPTY LOT?
HELEN EXPLAINED THAT EACH HAS TO BE REVIEWED BY THE PC.
MOTION WAS MADE BY ANITA TO DEFINE SECT. 3.2 SENIOR INDEPENDANT UNIT AS
1) OCCUPANTS ARE TO BE 55 OR OLDER
2) NO MORE THAN TWO PERMANENT RESIDENTS PER UNIT.
3) MINIMUM SIZE OF 600 SQ. FEET PER UNIT.
AVERY SUPPORTED THE MOTION PENDING ANY LEGALITIES, ALL AYE.
MOTION WAS MADE BY CARL AND SUPPORTED BY PETE TO ADD TO SECT. 6.3 SENIOR INDEPENDANT UNIT.
MOTION BY AVERY SUPPORTED BY STEVE TO PRESENT TIS MATTER TO THE TOWNSHIP BOARD. ALLAYE.
CARL ASKED HOW AND WHO WOULD GET THE LEGALITIES OF TIS MATTER.
JAKE SAID THE MTA WILL HAVE WRITTEN LEGALITIES AND HE WILL CONTACT THEM BY 6/29/00 TO ADD TO THE RECCOMENDATON.
OLD BUSINESS: JAKE REPORTED THAT TED'S HUNTER CREEK SITE PLAN WITH RENTAL COTTAGES NEEDS A LAND DIVISION REQUEST TO ALLOE A PERMANENT RESIDENCE.
